Time 4 Me is a therapeutic counselling service for children, young people, their parents and carers. Its objective is to empower the young people to become happy, safe, healthy and make a valuable contribution to their community. This project provides therapeutic counselling for children and young people in their schools and other educational settings. This service operates during term time and school hours and on the school’s grounds. Referrals are made to the service by the school and the work is carried out in a dedicated room on the school premises. The project is run by a qualified therapist who is a member of the BACP (British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy). All our therapists have enhanced DBS disclosures and professional liability insurance. The therapists work in partnership with the school staff; parent(s)/carer(s) and other services who may also be working with the family, to provide a joined up network of support for the family.
Time 4 Me delivers sensitive and confidential support for children, young people, parents and carers who are experiencing emotional difficulties. It provides a safe place to think together and communicate through talk, play and creative work. We also offer staff consultations.
